On Saturday, 4 March 2017, in the afternoon at 11:26, in Vilnius, on Vakarinis aplinkkelis street, at the junction with Oslo street, a Mitsubishi Colt hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.81‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
