On Monday, 6 March 2017, in the evening at 19:30, in Vilnius, on Mindaugo street, at the junction with J. Basanavičiaus street, an Opel Astra hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 20-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Opel (22 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
