On Friday, 10 March 2017, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kaunas, on Plytinės street, at the junction with Bernardinų Plytinės street, a BMW 530 D hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
