On Monday, 13 March 2017, in the afternoon at 14:46, in Telšių district municipality, on the Telšiai–Varniai–Laukuva national road (kilometre 2.30), a Citroen Xsara Picasso ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Citroen (19 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
