On Monday, 13 March 2017, in the afternoon at 16:42, in Jonavos district municipality, on Chemikų street near No. 35, a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Colt and a bicycle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
