On Sunday, 26 March 2017, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Marijampolės municipality, on Uosupio street near No. 14, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Tiguan, an Audi A2 and an Audi A4 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 76-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (36 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (0.58‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
