On Tuesday, 21 March 2017, in the evening at 21:18, in Trakų district municipality, on Klevų al. near No. 20, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 Avant and an Opel Astra Station Wagon. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Audi (4 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and entered the oncoming traffic lane. He was drunk (1.27‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 40 km/h.
