On Monday, 10 April 2017, in the evening at 21:48, in Trakų district municipality, Serapiniškių village, on the Trakai–Lentvaris–Mūrinė Vokė regional road (kilometre 3), a BMW X6 xDrive40d registered in Germany ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the BMW (6 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
