On Tuesday, 11 April 2017, in the evening at 20:40, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 222, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz S350 and an Audi A3. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
