On Sunday, 16 April 2017, at night at 3:50, in Vilnius, on Rolando Jankausko street, at the junction with Sietyno street, a Honda Civic ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Honda, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.14‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was snowing, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
