On Friday, 21 April 2017, in the morning at around 10:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Klaipėda–Veiviržėnai–Endriejavas regional road (kilometre 40.50), a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (35 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
