On Sunday, 23 April 2017, in the afternoon at 15:16, in Jonavos district municipality, on Chemikų street near No. 45, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Audi A6 (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.61‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
