On Friday, 28 April 2017, in the evening at 17:20, in Klaipėda, on Minijos street near No. 147, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Ford Mondeo and a Renault Clio. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk, had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
