On Saturday, 29 April 2017, in the evening at 17:45, in Mažeikių district municipality, Tirkšlių town, on Dariaus ir Girėno street, at the junction with S. Nėries street, an Audi A4 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.93‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
