On Sunday, 30 April 2017, in the afternoon at 11:35, in Kaunas, on E. Ožeškienės street, at the junction with Savanorių pr., a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Skoda 14 TR and a Mitsubishi ASX. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Skoda (32 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
