Unlicensed Mercedes-Benz driver hits a parked Lexus and flees on Varpo g., Šiauliai
On Tuesday, 9 May 2017, in the morning at around 9:00, in Šiauliai, on Varpo street near No. 27, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz and a Lexus GS 300. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 59-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (40 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
