On Saturday, 20 May 2017, in the evening at 21:55, in Telšių district municipality, on Stoties street near No. 4, a Yamaha XJ 600 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. Two people were injured — a 67-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient) and the 20-year-old driver of the Yamaha (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by a 67-year-old pedestrian, who was crossing the carriageway where prohibited. He was drunk (1.89‰ blood alcohol). The driver was sober.
