On Friday, 26 May 2017, in the morning at 7:40, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Slengių village, on Dangaus street, at the junction with liepų street, a rollover on the carriageway occurred. The accident involved a car and an Aprilia SR 50. One person was injured — the 17-year-old driver of the Aprilia (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
