On Monday, 29 May 2017, in the morning at around 10:00, in Šiauliai, on Aido street near No. 43, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Derbi and an Opel Zafira. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Derbi (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
