On Tuesday, 6 June 2017, in the afternoon at 14:40, in Kaunas, on Raudonojo Kryžiaus street, at the junction with Kiškių street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525 and an Opel Zafira. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
