On Tuesday, 6 June 2017, in the afternoon at 16:46, in Jonavos district municipality, Smičkių village, on the Vilijampolė–Žeimiai–Šėta national road (kilometre 25.30), a Suzuki GSX-R 600 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Suzuki (6 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
