On Monday, 12 June 2017, in the morning at 9:15, in Vilnius, on Šeškinės street near No. 22, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Megane registered in Spain and a Toyota Prius. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
