On Friday, 23 June 2017, in the afternoon at 15:05, in Panevėžys, on Ukmergės street near No. 26, a Suzuki XL-7 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. Two people were injured — a 55-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized) and a 62-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 71-year-old driver of the Suzuki (30 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober.
