On Sunday, 25 June 2017, at night at 4:27, in Alytaus district municipality, Kaniūkų village, on the Valkininkų g s –Daugai–Alytus national road (kilometre 42.64), a Seat Toledo rolled over. Two people were injured — the 18-year-old driver of the Seat (treated as an outpatient) and a 17-year-old passenger of the Seat (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Seat (1 year of driving experience). He was drunk (1.66‰ blood alcohol). A 19-year-old passenger of the Seat was drunk (1.63‰). A 17-year-old passenger of the Seat was drunk (0.93‰). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
