On Friday, 30 June 2017, in the morning at around 9:00, in Kaunas, on Parodos street, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Hyundai i 20 and a Renault Megane. Two people were injured — a 22-year-old passenger of the Renault (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt) and the 48-year-old driver of the Renault (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Hyundai (5 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. Both drivers were sober.
