On Saturday, 8 July 2017, in the afternoon at 14:20, in Kėdainių district municipality, on J. Basanavičiaus street, at the junction with Žemaitės street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 607 and a Volvo XC60. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection.
