On Wednesday, 26 July 2017, in the afternoon at 11:46, in Biržų district municipality, on the Kupiškis–Vabalninkas–Biržai national road (kilometre 38.35), a Ford Focus hit an obstacle. Two people were injured — the 50-year-old driver of the Ford (hospitalized) and a 43-year-old passenger of the Ford (hospitalized).
