On Friday, 28 July 2017, in the afternoon at 14:05, in Kaunas, on A. Juozapavičiaus pr. near No. 42, an Opel Vectra hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 21-year-old pedestrian (severely injured, hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 72-year-old driver of the Opel (23 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
