On Monday, 31 July 2017, in the morning at around 7:00, in Kaunas, on Marvelės street near No. 106, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a DAF FA LF 55.220 registered in Poland and an Audi A4 Avant. One person was injured — a 59-year-old passenger of the Audi (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the DAF (9 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
