On Monday, 31 July 2017, in the evening at 18:20, in Lazdijų district municipality, on Turistų street, at the junction with Seinų street, an Audi A4 Avant registered in Estonia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Audi. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
