On Wednesday, 9 August 2017, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kaunas, on Radvilų Dvaro street, at the junction with Erdvilo street, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a BMW 318 and a Volvo C30. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience). He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
