On Thursday, 10 August 2017, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kupiškio district municipality, on Vytauto street near No. 8, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Vento and a Seat Cordoba. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 72-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (22 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
