On Friday, 11 August 2017, in the evening at around 19:00, in Vilnius, on Žaliųjų Ežerų street, a vehicle hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 14-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed traffic rule violations that contributed to the accident. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
