On Saturday, 12 August 2017, in the evening at 18:04, in Raseinių district municipality, Vejukų village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 187), a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a Subaru Outback. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
