On Saturday, 19 August 2017, in the evening at 22:30, in Alytus, on Statybininkų street near No. 46, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 and a Renault Megane Scenic. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Audi. He was drunk (2.16‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
