On Sunday, 27 August 2017, at night at around 3:00, in Telšių district municipality, Lieplaukės village, on Stoties street, at the junction with Mokyklos street, a BRP Outlander rolled over. One person was injured — the 35-year-old driver of the BRP (hospitalized, was not wearing a helmet). The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the BRP, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
