On Thursday, 31 August 2017, in the evening at 21:26, in Kaunas, on A. Juozapavičiaus pr. near No. 114, an Audi A3 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 37-year-old pedestrian (severely injured, hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
