On Friday, 1 September 2017, in the evening at around 18:00, in Vilnius, on Rasų street near No. 8, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Corolla Verso and a Chrysler Voyager. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Toyota (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
