On Wednesday, 13 September 2017, in the evening at 19:06, in Vilnius, on M. Daukšos street near No. 7, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Prius and a Toyota Avensis. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Toyota Prius (18 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
