On Friday, 15 September 2017, in the afternoon at 12:43, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 201), a DAF rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the DAF, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet.
