On Monday, 18 September 2017, in the evening at 17:30, in Kaunas, on P. Lukšio street, at the junction with Ukmergės street, a Volkswagen Golf hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed sudden emergence from behind a vehicle, tree, etc.. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
