On Saturday, 23 September 2017, in the evening at 19:42, in Kaunas, on Šilainių pl., a Plymouth Grand Voyager hit an animal. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Plymouth, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.55‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
