On Saturday, 23 September 2017, in the evening at 21:45, in Vilnius, on Metalo street near No. 19, a Peugeot Partner rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.60‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. A 42-year-old passenger of the Peugeot was drunk (1.82‰). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
