On Sunday, 24 September 2017, in the evening at around 17:00, in Šiauliai, on Dubijos street, at the junction with P. Višinskio street, a Subaru Legacy hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 18-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 84-year-old driver of the Subaru (58 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
