On Monday, 25 September 2017, in the afternoon at 11:37, in Palanga, on Klaipėdos pl. near No. 44, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel and a Toyota Avensis. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Opel (7 years of driving experience), who was driving a vehicle with faults the traffic rules prohibit driving with. He fled the scene.
