On Tuesday, 3 October 2017, in the evening at 17:39, in Klaipėda, on Šviesos street, at the junction with Dailidžių street, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Chrysler Town & Country and a Volkswagen Sharan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Chrysler (18 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
