On Saturday, 7 October 2017, at night at around 1:00, in Kaunas, on Neries krant. street near No. 13, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra-G-Caravan and a KIA Motors Sportage. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Opel (10 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
