On Saturday, 7 October 2017, in the evening at 19:35, in Panevėžys, on Projektuotojų street, at the junction with Kniaudiškių street, a Baotian hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 60-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Baotian (1 year of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
