On Monday, 9 October 2017, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Vilnius, on Pašilaičių street near No. 1, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Scania P 94 DB and a Volkswagen Touareg. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Scania (16 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet.
