On Wednesday, 11 October 2017, in the afternoon at 12:50, in Vilnius, on Kalvarijų street near No. 8, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault Trafic and a Volvo 7700A. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 64-year-old driver of the Renault (43 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
